Medwatch has profiled Oncosyne as the company moves from research toward clinical and commercial scale. At the centre of that work is iCAN, Oncosyne’s platform for testing cancer drugs and drug combinations on cells grown from a patient’s own tumour, to find the treatment most likely to work for that individual.
The company is raising NOK 20 million to carry it through its ongoing randomized clinical study and CE marking for colorectal cancer, targeted for 2028. The round also unlocks NOK 13 million in soft funding toward a new clinical performance study in pancreatic cancer.
Work toward FDA and the US market has begun alongside the European pathway, with a possible 510(k) route under discussion.
